A Day in My Life: Behind the Scenes
When people hear about my work—managing social media, creating marketing plans, and running my page "Abid Onlinewala"—they often think it's all glamorous: posting pictures, grabbing a coffee, responding to a few comments, and calling it a day. But in reality, there's a whole other world going on behind the scenes.
Today, I notion I’d invite you right into a ordinary day in my life. Not the spotlight reel, but the real deal.
1. Morning: Setting the Tone
6:30 AM — Wake Up & Mindset Ritual
My day starts early, but no longer in a rush. I wake up around 6:30 a.m., do a few minutes of stretching, and drink a glass of water. No phone yet—this is a rule I try my best to stick to. Instead, I spend 10 minutes meditating, writing down some thoughts, or mentally planning what I want my day to look like.
Some days, I write a simple gratitude list — just three things I’m grateful for. It shifts my mindset right away.
7:00 AM — Quick Exercise & Breakfast
I don’t do hardcore workout routines in the morning, but a short 15–20 mins of mild exercise (even just a stroll or stretching) wakes my frame up. After that, I snatch breakfast — generally eggs, toast, and tea.
7:30 AM — Planning the Day
Before diving into paintings, I assessment my planner. I jot down 3 major priorities for the day, not 20. This enables me live realistic and efficient instead of beaten.
2. Mid-Morning: Content is King (and Queen)
8:00 AM — Content Creation
Mornings are a golden time of creativity for me. I start by writing posts, brainstorming new ideas for my clients, or making design changes. Sometimes I write captions, sometimes I record short movies or plan stories.
I group tasks into groups—meaning if I'm writing, I write multiple captions at once. If I'm designing, I layout more than one post at a time. This keeps my mind focused on one task instead of switching gears repeatedly.
10:00 AM — Client Work and Meetings
After that, I go through clients’ emails and WhatsApp messages. I respond to comments, edit content to suit their needs, and sometimes even jump on a short call to discuss monthly strategies.
A big part of my job is explaining ideas — not just creating content but teaching clients why a certain approach will work better for their brand.
3. Afternoon: Execution & Engagement
12:00 PM — Publishing and Scheduling
Once the creative work is done, I move on to the technical part: uploading posts, scheduling content through tools like Buffer or Meta Business Suite, and making sure everything is ready to go live at the most opportune time.
I additionally double-check analytics:
Which posts carried out properly?
What sort of content material is getting more saves or stocks?
Are there feedback or DMs I need to reply to straight away?
1:30 PM — Lunch Break
By this time, I'm ready for a break. I step away from the screen and have a leisurely lunch, sometimes refreshing my brain by watching something light on YouTube or listening to a podcast about business, marketing, or sometimes just comedy.
4. Late Afternoon: Business Development Time
2:30 PM — Learning & Growth
Every day, I dedicate 30–60 mins to mastering something new:
A new Instagram feature
A better Facebook ad approach
Trends on TikTok or Pinterest
Staying updated is not non-compulsory in digital marketing — it’s survival.
Three:30 PM — Brainstorming & Strategy Time
This is once I permit myself some ‘massive picture’ wondering. I brainstorm approaches to improve my services, create offers, think of collaborations, or paintings on my own brand “Abid Onlinewala.”
Sometimes I caricature out difficult thoughts for blog posts (like this one!), YouTube motion pictures, or lead magnets. Creativity needs breathing room, so I don’t rush this part.
5. Evening: Wrapping Up & Unwinding
5:00 PM — Admin & Final Tasks
Before shutting down for the day, I deal with small admin responsibilities:
Updating invoices
Sending reviews
Double-checking tomorrow’s calendar
I also do a quick inbox cleanup so the following day doesn’t start messy.
6:00 PM — Offline Mode
I officially stop doing my work-related stuff around 6 p.m. Sure, sometimes surfing the internet means last-minute DMs or important posts, but I try to set boundaries.
Evenings are for own family time, striking out with buddies, or virtually chilling with Netflix and snacks. Balance matters simply as tons as hustle.
Final Thoughts
People often see the end product — the polished Instagram post, the viral reel, the smiling photo — but behind it all lies hours of planning, questioning, developing, improving, and sometimes doubting.
Running a virtual business is profitable but also annoying.
And truly? I wouldn’t have it any other manner.
Building “Abid Onlinewala” isn’t just a process — it’s a adventure that’s coaching me area, creativity, verbal exchange, and plenty approximately myself.
Thanks for spending an afternoon with me — even just thru this publish.
